Legato inTouch app for iPhone and iPad

Legato inTouch provides a mechanism to take control of your inSight based digital signage display screen.

In a typical paired setup the iPad is mounted close to the display screen. The inTouch application is configured to connect to a single inTouch message on the inSight media player. During periods of no interaction, both the display screen and the iPad will display a message loop (i.e. they behave as normal digital signage). However once a user touches the iPad screen the message loop is interrupted on both the iPad and display screen. Interactive content is served to the iPad and this content controls the display screen.

In a second mode of operation the inTouch application can be used by staff to take control of display screens. The inSight media player can store as many inTouch messages as required and the inTouch application is configured to provide access to these messages.

The staff member simply selects the display to control and chooses the inTouch message to view. The operation then continues as above with the staff member able to interact with the iPad and control the content viewed on the display screen.

The inTouch system is not just a replacement to a touch screen display, it offers so many more possibilities. An iPad tablet is part of the furniture in many homes. Even people who have never used an iPad have an understanding of what it is.
